I am a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in Claremont, California, as well as offering teletherapy throughout California. I specialize in working with survivors of interpersonal trauma, such as childhood abuse and neglect, intimate partner violence, and sexual abuse and assault. I’m also a sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirmative, polyamory-friendly and kink-informed therapist, and I love supporting clients with issues regarding their sexuality and sexual identity.
My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative, and empowerment-focused. I place great importance on the therapeutic relationship: on forming an authentic connection with you, helping you create a sense of safety, and allowing you to feel seen and understood. I integrate EMDR and somatic therapy (TRM) into my work with my clients to treat mind-body symptoms and release trauma.

Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a tool that can help people heal from traumatic events. It uses bilateral stimulation to help process and release traumatic memories. EMDR can significantly reduce symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of traumatic events.
Somatic therapy focuses on the connection of mind and body in the healing process. Through developing awareness of the mind-body connection, somatic therapy helps release activation in your nervous system. It is helpful for treating stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and PTSD symptoms.
I am a sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, polyamory-friendly and kink-informed therapist. I am passionate about helping clients develop a healthier relationship with their sexuality and sexual identity, and I create an accepting and non-judgmental space for clients to share openly and honestly about themselves.
